Because it's just that exciting. If I didn't have a house full of sick people, I'd be out in this all day instead of just taking pictures...
And yes, it's snowing again today - that's what all the daylight pictures are from. More, thicker, staying, real snow! TX clearly loves me more than MI does. I think I love it, too.

One way or the other, this land does have her charming ways of gaining her peoples' affections. Call me crazy, but I started to love Austin when we first moved in, the first night driving the fly-way on 183. Something about the city lights and that heady feeling of flight as we sped above the city. It was the first city I found genuinely attractive and exciting. But the real treat is to catch her in the glint-gold of a long summer sunset.
Sigh. Still five more semesters here in Houston.

I've still got some time to wait before summer, and I'm not so sure about city lights.. but I do agree about one thing. Austin is the first big (USA) city that I really like.
